Yesterday I quit the journalism course, and inrolled instead in a Batchelors of Soc Sci, majoring in French and psychology. The people looked amazed when I said yes, I am happy to do all the papers, and no, I would not like to cross credit anything or speed anything up. It seems that learning for the sake of being interested is an unusual thing, but however, despite the raised eyebrows and incredulous stares, I managed to get all signed up in the space of a morning.
Had a look for a flat today, found one where the guy who was in charge pretty much said taht he had a big stereo, and liked to play it loud, inferring that it would not be possible to ask him, politely, to turn that fucking rock down.
